[新北市訊] 2024 年 5 月 28 日，成州國小將舉辦一場別開生面的音樂交流盛會，邀請到來自美國哈佛大學的 Radcliffe Pitches 女子合唱團進行交流見面。活動內容豐富，包括管樂迎賓、合唱表演、人聲合唱分組教學成果展演、創客文教館參觀等，精彩可期。
Radcliffe Pitches 成立於 1976 年，是哈佛大學最負盛名的 A Cappella 合唱團之一，此次受邀來訪，為成州國小的師生帶來一場難忘的音樂饗宴。當天，由成州管樂團演奏台灣民謠「望春風」、成州合唱團演唱客家歌曲「天送伯也」及菲律賓民謠「Tao Tao Po」，並由 Radcliffe Pitches 帶來精彩的 A Cappella 合唱表演。接著，團員也與成州國小的學生進行分組音樂教學，並於成果展演中分享學習成果。最後，成州國小安排哈佛合唱團團員參觀學校的創客文教館並體驗食農教育及蒸餾課程。
成州國小王淑玲校長表示，此次交流活動旨在增進學生對多元文化的認識，提升音樂藝術素養，並拓展國際視野，學校親師生對於有這樣的國際交流機會，感到難能可貴與興奮。

Chengzhou Elementary School to Host Exchange Meeting with Harvard University's Radcliffe Pitches (A Cappella) Chorus

New Taipei City, Taiwan – Chengzhou Elementary School will host a special musical exchange event on May 28, 2024, inviting the Radcliffe Pitches women's chorus from Harvard University to visit and exchange with the school's students. The event will feature a variety of activities, including a brass band welcome, choral performances, a cappella group teaching, and a visit to the school's Maker Education Center.
Radcliffe Pitches, founded in 1976, is one of Harvard University's most prestigious a cappella choruses, renowned for its high-level vocal skills and rich musical expression. The visit will bring an unforgettable musical feast to the students and faculty of Chengzhou Elementary School.
On the day of the event, the Chengzhou Brass Band will perform the Taiwanese folk song "Wangchunfeng," the Chengzhou Choir will sing the Hakka song "Tiansong Bo'ai" and the Filipino folk song "Tao Tao Po," and Radcliffe Pitches will showcase their cappella choral performances. Following the performances, the Radcliffe Pitches members will engage in group music lessons with Chengzhou Elementary School students and share their learning. Finally, Chengzhou Elementary School arranged for the Radcliffe Pitches members to visit the school's Maker Education Center and experience food and agriculture education and distillation classes.
Principal Shuling Claudia Wang of Chengzhou Elementary School stated that the purpose of this exchange event is to enhance students' understanding of diverse cultures, improve their music and art literacy, and broaden students’ global view. The school's faculty, parents, and students are honored and excited to have this opportunity for international exchange.
